 The Brower Legacy Campaign, first launched in 1997 in honor of David Brower's 85th birthday, has been expanded to honor his lifetime of bold action, inspiring mentorship, and principled effectiveness which played such a large role in forming the modern environmental movement. In the face of an increasingly urgent environmental situation, our Brower Legacy programs will be there to inspire and support the next generation of visionary environmental leaders, the "David Browers" of the new century. Among other initiatives, the Brower Legacy Campaign currently includes the Brower Youth Awards, the Brower Center, and the Brower Fund.
