- Event: Earth Island Project Directors, Drew Weiner of Reef Protection International and Alfredo Quarto of Mangrove Action Project will be part of a national radio show, "Beyond Organic" hosted by Jerry Kay.
It will be streamed live over the internet from 10am-11am on Wed., January 12. The show will focus on the importance of restoring, and preserving, mangroves and coral reefs and their relationship to the food web in the areas affected by the earthquake/tsunami. They will be joined by Goldman prize winner Pisit Charnsnoh (tentative - from Thailand).
