"I was very touched by the warm welcome at the Nissan dock by JEE and DWAN members and friends waving banners of welcome and Orca graphics and Save The Taiji Five T shirts. I finally got to meet Chie, who has done so much to coordinate for me. We all got a tour of the ship Century Highway No2, that rescued me, and to meet some of the crew that took xcare of me and became friends. Masahiro helped me go through immigration as my guarantor, and I have a 15 day disaster visa. The Japanese Coast Guard had 3 men to debrief me on the capsize and rescue.

I said a heartfelt good-bye to the captain and crew, and we went to Yokohama Chinatown for food and a chance for me to tell some of the story of what happened. Then we went shopping for some clothes and shoes and went to Masahiro's house for dinner fixed by his Mother. Cecilia joined us. Dr. Spong called to give his support and see how I was. We are trying to arrange a joint press conference in a few days. Frank Chase called from Kyoto, where he is arranging talks for me. I will do a few talks here for DWAN and other groups. Looks like a busy schedule. I am very pleased to be able to do this, so that the capsize has not destroyed everything. I am processing all I can and already wrote over 35 pages of what happened. I'm doing well thanks to the very warm and supporting people around me here. It's late now and after a warm bath I'm ready to crash. I'll send more along soon. "

Love to all,

Michael
